  Ok, I guess I have come to the conclusion that I think my life is too boring to put up for everyone to see everyday. I dunno, its just me I guess. I definately enjoy reading about everyone else. Classic lurk. Sometimes I feel like I am reaching a new plateau(?, I dont care to look up exact spelling at this moment.) in my life, and that is when I care to write in this thing.
Last week I went to my parents' rented condo in St. Augustine beach with my friend Ryan Smith and as we pulled up to the gate and put in the code, we realized that it was wrong and had to call her to get the correct code. At the same time, a new mustang pulled up behind us, we pulled up, the put in the code and we went through the gate(the same thing that happens to almost anyone when they pull up to an unfamiliar complex.). Smith and I were taking out our bags and walking to our room when we hear something along the line of;"fuck you pussy...nonrenters..." blah blah blah BSSSSS...and basically me and him get into it word for word, I tell him to get out of the car and swing at me if he thinks he can talk to us like that. He gets out, takes off his shoes and comes at me like hes going to swing. I prepare to take it or duck, hopefully duck, yet he pulls out MASE from behind his back sprays me in the face. I fall to the ground and tell Smith to get him, he sprays him, Smith blocks it buts gets it all on his arms, the kid runs to the car, I run at the car, swing into the open window as hard as I can and catch the kid in the face. (Smith told me the pop was loud as hell) After that a security car comes along, takes us into the security office, the cops are called and he and his gf are escorted off the property losing 1000 bucks rent for the week. My face hurt like hell for twenty minutes... but I bet hes still swolen and 1000 bucks were wasted. Fuck that kid.

The next day was spent with my beautiful/sweet/adorable/intelligent GF. Ocean, family with bad timing...family that matters...long drives...love

All and all a pretty awesome LIVEJOURNAL worthy weekend.

Im playing solo acoustic on Saturday night at the inbetween. I'd love to see some of you out. I have at least two songs that never get played in Mosey as well as a bunch of Mosey favorites.

  has amazing jeans. I got the 60 thousand mile tuneup for my Honda today and it runs perfect again.

Coming back to Tally tommorrow night..I'd like to do something after practice so someone call us.

  Last night I was delighted to hear, in my drunken state, that there is currently a high budget Johnny Cash movie being filmed and Reese Witherspoon has been cast as his wife. Best Movie Ever.

Thanks to those who came to see us last night. We had a good time.

  I think I did awesome on my test. At the very minimum I think I got a B. Practice went well tonight, went through the 6 song set pretty flawlessly. Should be good tomorrow...We start at 1015.

I'm kind of ready for summer to be over and everyone to be back. I miss some people.
We are going into the studio in 2-3 weeks to begin recording what could potentially be a full length 10 song CD. We have buttons in the works right now. Honestly I know its "bobo" to be into yourself and your own band and everything, but right now I'm kind of excited.

I miss my girlfriend.

  After years of avoiding this site, I've found that I too have nothing better to do than post my life up for everyone else to see...that, or now that I've seen how this site works, it seems intriguing, and I dont currently have a job.
To everyone I add: This is RYAN SLATE....CHARLES RYAN SLATE on myspace. I'm not just some crazy random dude...well sort of. So add me back without hesitation please.

Today was financial aid day. Im no longer broke and it feels good...hence the no job thing.
Exam tommorrow...because I don't attend class I have a full day of studying tommorrow. With a little money in my pocket and a Mosey show on Friday, I will be having a good next couple of days. Speaking of which, I'd love to see everyone out on Friday. I think we are playing early, around 10. So of course we'll go to see Tyson next door afterwards.
